Every evening at dinner Jeremy asks Sophie questions from the shorter Catechism. Tonight when asked if she was baptized she replied, "Baptized! (insert pause for thought) It will be fun!"
Recently she has become more and more random and about a month or so ago she started running around the house yelling at the top of her lungs "BAAAAAAAAAAAAANOONLES!" We haven't determined that it has any meaning, but she gets quite a kick out of herself when she says it!

This next one is little harder to describe and I tried to take pictures of her doing it, but she wasn't very cooperative so you'll have to try to use your imagination. About a month ago, Sophie came into our bedroom with us to snuggle one morning and she
was trying to get Jeremy and I out of bed. She wasn't getting the response that she wanted so she turned to Jeremy, placed her hand under his chin and pushed it up with her hand saying "hummmbobo!" We haven't figured out what this one means yet either, but she does it to everyone! Even herself. (Lucy doesn't think it's very funny.) Sometimes, if you're lucky, she gives you a double whammy!

(This is Sophie performing her little diddy on herself.)Sophie also keeps us in stiches with the words she comes up with for everyday things or people. On Thursday's she goes to music class at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Her teacher's name is Miss Trish and at the beginning and conclusion of each class she sings "Hello/Goodbye Sophie" and Sophie has to repeat it back to her in song. but Sophie's "t's" come out like "f's" so she sings "Hello Miss Fish".
In January we went to Seattle to visit some of Jeremy's family. When we boarded the plane Sophie stood up in her seat turned around to see who was behind her and said, "hello boys!" There they were, two boys about 12 and 10 and Sophie seemed to know exactly what she was talking about! We couldn't figure out how she already knew the difference between boys and girls. Well...last Sunday when I was carrying Sophie into church she said "hello boys" to the people behind us. I turned around and there was a group of both males and females. She thinks that "boys" mean "people".
Some other mispronunciations are truck "fruck". The only problem with this is it comes out sounding not quite like "fruck", more like...well...I'm sure you can guess that one. Another one we have to watch is kitty which she pronounces with a "t" at the beginning!
As you can see she keeps us on our toes and in stitches. I wonder what kinds of things Lucy will say...
